day 006: lincoln's birthday

Posted on 2007-02-13

"You are well within your rights to put your own agenda first today -- even if it means that you'll cause conflict in a group setting. Getting along well with others should be a secondary goal today. After all, you cannot always be everyone's friend. Do not compromise your beliefs just to keep the peace within a group. Other people might give you grief for not going along with a plan, but deep down they will respect you for sticking to your guns."  --Yahoo.com Astrology; Scorpio

(This is a repost since I didn't get to post yesterday)

So my friend's asked me what I'm doing today and of course I said work.  They told me to go to La Jolla tonight for a bonfire.  My friend's are freak'n nuts cuz they think today is a holiday lol.  But yeah...I guess I'm gonna be headed to San Diego right after work.  I'm gonna have to swing over the Spectrum to get some clothes to change into without having to go there wearing my office clothes.

day 003: "shoo fly don't bother me"

"This day is loaded with intensity for you, and if you're not careful, it could be somewhat confusing. Every time you make eye contact with someone, you'll sense a deeply meaningful subtext. Does this glance mean something important? It's crucial that you keep your imagination from running too wild today, because you're likely to see hidden messages where none exist. Enjoy the strength of your connections today, but try to take them at face value."  --Yahoo.com Astrology; Scorpio

Seriously man...you're the one who broke up with me.  Why are you still calling acting like there's nothing wrong and that everything is cool?  Have fun with your friends tonight and I'll have fun with mine.  Like I said, with or without you, I still have everything and I haven't lost anything but you.  And if you think you'd get away by putting me aside for this week so that you can fuck around with your friends while they're here visiting for the weekend, don't be so confident that you'll still have a chance with me.  I'm not your fuck'n tour guide nor am I your bitch.  It might have worked in Seattle but you're in LA now, it ain't gonna work on me!  Yes, I was there for you in the beginning and when you were at those states of stress, but what makes you think I'll still be here for you if everything you've told me were lies.  I'm human yo!  I'm not your fuck'n toy that you can just play around with when you have no one else to turn to.  So get in line because you're not first in my list of priorities anymore.  And if you really hate LA so much, why don't you fuck'n move back to Seattle!  Good luck here in LA.  Latez.

day 002: pay day

"Someone's powerful charisma will turn your head today -- and inspire you to get more involved in an altruistic pursuit. You are emerging from a somewhat introspective time into a mood of wanting to share yourself with others. Being connected to other people -- even strangers -- is important right now. Volunteering is a great option to explore today. Think of what you like most in your life, and try to give someone else that very thing."  --Yahoo.com Astrology; Scorpio

Alright!  I'm going to hit up South Coast Plaza during my lunch break and shop for a little bit.  I have plans for this weekend and I wanna look good for them lol.

Anyways,  A friend of mine asked me to watch a play with him called "Dogeaters."  He's been asking me for a long time, but I never had a chance to go watch it with him.

Valinda called me earlier this week asking if I'd want to chill with the other's this Friday.  I'm not sure if I'd be able to since I'm going clubbing on Friday.  I'm gonna have to think about this because I don't usually see her and my other friends anymore since school's over.

Here is the info on the play for this Saturday:

"Dogeaters"

Kirk Douglas Theatre
By Jessica Hagedorn
based on her best-selling novel
Directed by Jon Lawrence Rivera
January 14 - February 11, 2007

A tragi-comic look at the Philippines during the reign of Marcos, and the conflicts experienced by Asian immigrants caught between cultures. Told through a diversity of characters including a soft-porn movie star, a Jesuit priest, a Filipino-American Californian, a hustler and deejay, a movie usherette and Imelda Marcos herself, the world of Dogeaters is beautiful, lush, and always volatile - a wondrous bundle of contradictions where mundane reality, the supernatural, the spiritual and the carnal collide and coexist.

day 001: it's foggy outside

"Your charm is legendary, but it might not be enough to light up the eyes of a certain introverted person today -- do not let this get to you! Focus on the people who do appreciate you, and don't neglect them in order to win over a new person on the scene. It takes time for some people to open up to others and to join group activities, so don't try to force things. You'll win this person over by giving him or her space and time."  --Yahoo.com Astrology; Scorpio

Good morning.  I actually feel great this morning and I woke up very engergic.  Yesterday, was a day of closure for someone and me.  It's ok though, I'm not hurting as much as I've hurted before.

Aside from everything else...I can't wait till Friday.  My friends and I are going to have a single's night out at the club.  And to tell you the truth....I need it.  I really need to relax and enjoy everything I have and what I've accomplished.  I don't think I was able to do that at all after graduation.  I seriously jumped onto the working world right after school and never even thought about stopping and enjoying life.  I'm happy where I am right now, and I'm happy with what I've accomplished.  So this Friday, I'm going to party like if it was my very own holiday, and appreciate what God has given me.  Oh yeah...i'm going to celebrate my income tax refund as well =P
